William Middleton
MS, Clinical Mental Health Counselor
William is a Master's Level Clinical Mental Health Counselor, currently working towards full licensure. He enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families. He values a collaborative approach with his clients, emphasizing that his hopes are his clients' goals, and his methods inform how they reach those goals together.
William utilizes various approaches to counseling. His particular approach is adapted to meet his client's main goals and concerns. Some of his specific methods include emotional-focused therapy blended with narrative therapy.
In all of his approaches, William leans on the foundations found in attachment theory and family systems. In working with his clients, William's hope is to create a space for them that encourages discovering skills and tools to help them in their current season of life, as well as a better future.
In his free time, William enjoys spending time with his wife and their cats (who truly act more like dogs). They enjoy cooking together, gardening, spending time together in the great outdoors, and traveling. You may even find William playing his wife's favorite songs on the ukulele while doing any of the above.
